2010 Le Blason de Prince Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cellier des Princes
2010 Le Blason de Prince Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cellier des Princes
Very light Burgundy hue. It's got some legs in the glass. Spicey and savoury, fennel seeds & smoked meats. Hints of fig jam, blackcurrants and mulberries.
Great earthiness, gutsiness and an understated powerful complexity. Elegant, rustic yet balanced. Liquorice, coffee beans, black olives and saddle. Rich on the palate.
Spiritual and articulate, yet an austere, masculine and balsy wine. A vineous Atticus Finch.... My first CDP and definitely not my last.
