2010 Pizzini Sangiovese Shiraz

2010 Pizzini Sangiovese Shiraz
Sour cherries and tangy raspberries with lots of crunchy acidity and juicy tannins. Smokey paprika and charcuterie. Light to medium bodied and loads of fun. Lots more sangiovese than Shiraz. Smacks with spicey aromatics and boasts genuine all round food friendliness status.
If this wine played cricket it would be Shane Watson. Can be imbibed in all forms of the gastronomic game.

Tasted 2nd June 2012
13.6% Alc Vol
