2010 Coldstream Hills Pinot Noir
Bold dark cherries & raspberries on the nose. Smooth & curvaceous tannins. Less vegetative characteristics & more harmonious fruit. Still has that saddle bag leather & smokiness I love about all ravishingly silky pinot noir.
Compared with the Kooyong Massale this is more feminine and sexy rather than classic and confronting. Think Eva Mendes rather than Al Pacino. Both breathtaking......
Matched with roasted pumpkin, sage & pea risotto.
